Senior Full-Stack Software Development Engineer

In this hybrid role, based in Seattle, you will work closely with other talented developers on challenging and rewarding projects. You'll be instrumental in re-platforming our current website, integrating it seamlessly with our new systems, and ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as a dedicated team member, consistently aiming for project success and ongoing personal growth.
• Develop, design and maintain full stack applications using best software development practices.
• Challenge and be challenged in detailed and constructive code review sessions.
• Participate in agile and scrum ceremonies to support positive team, project and process development.
• Research, troubleshoot and debug technical issues to overcome challenges and produce clean, efficient and easy to understand code.
• Write documentation regularly to help guide colleagues of the present and the future.
• Be a defender of our customers and help build monitoring around the health of our systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5-8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience with a strong focus on full-stack development, including significant front-end work.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with database management systems, including both SQL and NoSQL.
• Strong understanding of unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation (API, web, and integration).
• Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong debugging skills for identifying and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• A passion for learning new technologies and strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
