Direct Support Professionals work 1:1 with children who have Autism to help them reach goals in the home and community setting.
Position Description
Hours available are typically after school and on the weekends. Must be available to work at least 12 hours/week and must be available at least 3 afternoon/evenings during the week.
Responsibilities
Abide by HIPAA policies and procedures
· Implement plans as instructed by the Behavior Consultant
· Collect unbiased and accurate data and submit documentation timely
· Proactively communicate with supervisors
· Maintain reliable transportation, a driver’s license, and car insurance
· Transporting consumers

Education & Experience
At least 100 hours of related personal, professional, or volunteer experience with children who have Autism
· Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in a related field to Behavior Analysis or Education, including: special education, child development and psychology among others
· Preferred one year of experience working in a related field
