Data Platform Developer

OASYS, INC., a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a Data Platform Developer to support our Army customer on Redstone Arsenal.

Job Responsibilities include: Open-source technology developer with strong NiFi skills. Must be capable of developing solutions with little or no business use case/requirements, can adapt to changing requirements, and is able to quickly apply knowledge and skills to produce innovative technical solutions. Applicant would be part of a highly integrated development team that executes modernization, sustainment, and ad hoc development activities in various technologies to include Apache NiFi, AWS Redshift, AWS Aurora, and Oracle RDS.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of Linux based programming + KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ARMY LOGISTICS DATA
• 12 total years of experience and the 12 years can be any type of paid experience
• AWS Redshift, AWS Aurora, AWS S3, Denodo
• PostgreSQL, Oracle
• Bitbucket(Stash), Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Crowd, HP Fortify
• Eclipse,GIT, DBeaver
• Bash, SQL, PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL, Avro, Parquet, ORC
• Toad, SQL Developer
• Strong skills in NiFi, Java, Groovy, Python, XML, XSLT, XPath, XQuery, HTMLJSON

Required Education: Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline.

Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
