We’re hiring Sr. CT Technologists for our SF locations& We’re hoping to have hires to start after July 1st possibly with a late August 2024 opening.&
Our new Medical Building complex is located south of the new Center. The Medical Building is critical to support our Health operations and to serve a growing patient demand, including an increasing demand for outpatient surgery.& &
This position will work flexible hours and requires travel at our other locations. Work hours and days are variable 7 days a week, 8-hour days and 10 to 12-hour days, including evening weekends and graveyard shifts. Includes shift and weekend differentials.&
The Senior CT Technologist is a CRT/ARRT Technologist who maintains an ARRT-sponsored CT Certification. This individual must also be certified and demonstrate competency in performing injection procedures necessary for CT. This Technologist must demonstrate the ability to perform CT exams in both the inpatient and outpatient environment, be able to work safely in an acute care setting, and be able to interact accordingly with anesthesia and other patient care departments that visit the CT environment. Additionally, the Senior CT Technologist must participate with the training of students and new hires when necessary.
Must have flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holiday work at all our Medical Center locations.&
The Senior CT Technologist’s advanced responsibilities can include, yet are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrate competency actively and participate in the lead/coordinator role.
- Active participation in an annual performance improvement project or active participation in CT Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings.
- Demonstrate competency and the ability to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures.
- Requires ARRT Licensure
- Requires CRT Licensure
- Requires ARRT-approved CT Certification
- Requires Venipuncture Certification
- Requires BLS (CPR) Certification
- Three (3) years minimum experience in practicing modality in an acute care setting.
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA-approved school.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays. Must be willing to assist at any of the our Medical Center Locations
- Teaching: Lead/Coordinator, participates and demonstrates ability to effectively teach BASIC and ADVANCED procedures.
- Mentoring – Actively participates in mentoring new employees and students (excludes Per Diem).
