Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $80,000 to $85,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Perform monthly allocation, schedules as support for AP invoices.
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed to complete deliverables.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of accounting experience.
- Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office Suite (Excel), Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacc) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and familiarity with tax laws & compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
