Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote the cognitive,
social, emotional, and physical development of preschool-aged children.
2. Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel
safe to explore and learn.
3. Conduct ongoing assessments of childrens progress, maintain accurate records, and
communicate effectively with parents and administrators.
4. Collaborate with a team of educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching
educational experience for all students.
5. Adhere to licensing requirements and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom
space.
6. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices
in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).
2. Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Early Childhood
Education (preferred).
3. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting
(preferred).

4. Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education
methodologies.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage
effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
6. Demonstrated passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and
development.
