We are a growing transportation company in the Chicagoland Area, focused on the medical field, seeking for Independent Contractor courier. You must be fantastic with customers, have a clean MVR, and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment.

**NOTE: Routes are contracted on a first come, first serve basis. The most organized and eager drivers will complete the contracting process in less than 24 hours and will have more options of available routes than a driver who takes longer to finish the required tasks! Start the first business day after your company on-boarding docs cleared.

ROUTES: Recurring -This is NOT Uber, Lyft, or a Seasonal Period. We do have flexible day work On Demand (see below)

SUNDAY- FRIDAY – A.M, early afternoon, evening

TUESDAY- SATURDAY - A.M, early afternoon, evening

Drivers must be willing to adhere to COVID-19 protocols and hospital/health system requirements such as wearing personal protective equipment (face covering) and temperature screenings that are both required at all delivery locations

-VERY Steady Specials/On Demand Monday- Sunday

-Great Supplemental income!

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 + lbs
• Ability to read PO's (purchase orders), fill out BOL's (bill of lading) collect full POD's (proof of delivery) and follow basic delivery instructions
• Safely load and unload cargo
• Safely handle medical specimens
• Scanning & Logging
• Smart Phone with ability to perform in a mobile-technology environment (scan, email, GPS) and access to a large or unlimited data package
• Properly track and document electronic log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Effective Time management to ensure your deliveries are made on schedule

Qualifications:

• Previous courier experience is preferred, but not required
• 21+ years old
• Valid Driving License and Clean records (past 3 years with no speeding above 20ml/hr)
• Valid driver's license (Commercial Class B or C Preferred)
• Must have/use your own vehicle with Auto Insurance Liability Limits of 100/300k Bodily and 100k Property
• I-Pass for tollway is REQUIRED
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• FAST LEARNER
• Able to perform in a mobile-technology environment - need smart phone with unlimited data
• Must have Auto Insurance Liability Limits of 100/300/100 - WC, Occupational-Accident insurance policies
• Contracted Medical customer requires a background check and drug screening

This is a 1099 independent contractor agreement, must be incorporated or operating as a DBA

Drivers & Owners/Operators must have great customer service, dependable, self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Work type & Routes do change, and they vary depending on your vehicle type and willingness to work. Pay is also dependent on this. This is not an Uber or Lyft type of service. We have regular steady work that requires contractual commitment in the healthcare sector.
