We are seeking a Door, Frame and Hardware project engineer to join our team! You will assist our project managers in reviewing and providing quality control within the architectural plan sets, RFPs, and specifications. Help complete submittal packages, place orders, schedule, accept small deliveries and help inventory at our office. We are a small women owned company being flexible is key! We are hoping to grow this position into a project manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Provide quality control to the architects/general contractors to confirm requirements are met and material will arrive correctly
• Ability to spot and call out discrepancies 
• Provide detailed submittal packages that adhere to finalized plans and specifications
• Interface with project contractors, architects, vendors, engineers, installers, locksmiths and end users
• Place detailed and thorough orders for doors, frames, and hardware

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills and
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
