Director of Marketing
Job Summary: The Director of Marketing (DM) will work alongside the sales and customer operations teams to drive growth and provide value to our customers. The position will have a hand in all elements of Rad Source’s marketing funnel and will include content strategy and creation, social media, marketing automation, and events. The ideal candidate is proactive and passionate about getting things done. They enjoy a challenge and want to learn more about marketing in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking an experienced and professional marketing person with a history of upstream & downstream marketing success. Candidates with experience in the medical industry and/or irradiation industry are preferred as this is a highly demanding position which requires a strong industry network. Strong candidates will be knowledgeable about market trends, product marketing, marketing plans, brand awareness, product lifecycle, graphic design, marketing communications and tradeshow management.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute and maintain demand creation and lead generation activities to develop qualified sales leads and create brand awareness as well as develop programs to accelerate existing pipeline.
- Build, run and execute a comprehensive B2B Marketing plan that integrates regional & international requirements with corporate marketing initiatives.
- Work with partner organizations in order to deliver marketing plans and content.
- Manage and develop marketing budget, execute within plan
- Research, recommend, and drive targeted marketing plans for new and existing client and partner activities, including field events, establishing relationships with industry associations and events/tradeshows.
- Collaborate with customers, marketing intelligence and third-party sources to monitor, understand and respond to competitive product performance, branding, messaging, and tactics.
- Integrate into the NPI process by providing market research, competitive industry benchmarks and intelligence.
- Manage and direct all aspects of B2B & B2C Social Media, integrate tracking into CRM.
- Support logistics and execution to ensure the success of event programs such as tradeshows, roundtables, customer/prospect dinners, etc.
- Develop/re-purpose relevant marketing content as required. Collaboration with Sales prior to start to ensure accuracy and activities to generate the right results.
- Work with local sales teams and channel partners to identify, retain and maintain local customer references for marketing and PR opportunities. Help drive and coordinate the creation of customer case studies, news stories, press releases, event communications.
- Maintain and develop tradeshow gifts: design, selection, project manage the process of distribution for field marketing, corporate and sales events.
- Develop sales collateral and training assets for third party vendors and partners, partner with Quality to document.
- Develop and implement a Marketing Approval Process for published material and content.
- Define common campaign structure and elements to be used across Campaigns including but not limited to: Digital Marketing, Inbound and Outbound Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Public Relations, Events and more.
- Lead the creation of compelling marketing content.
Qualifications:
- 8+ Years of leadership in a senior Marketing Role.
- 5+ years industry experience in Product Marketing and managing people.
- Proficiency in Sales Lead, Social Listening, Nurturing, Workflow and SEO platforms and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of business strategy, marketing brand and business plans, product launch strategy and support, marketing and sales execution and sales support preferred.
- Proven ability to influence and build consensus with diverse stakeholders.
- Skilled in creating, editing and promoting written and visual content. Ability to implement, design and execute effective graphic design programs
- Superior presentation and communication skills to clearly articulate objectives and goals and to liaise effectively with leadership and team members to create buy-in and drive execution.
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategy successfully while collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus, with effective project management expertise.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions for challenging, undefined problems.
- Passion for working with technology products and solving consumer needs.
- Must have excellent analytical and analytic communication skills
- Must possess advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.
- Must be able to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision.

- Must be able to communicate telephonically.
- Up to but not limited to 30% travel including possible international travel.
