Amotec is engaged in a search for a Controls Engineer. Located in Euclid, OH, our client is a leading manufacturer experiencing rapid growth! This global organization is recognized for its innovative solutions and commitment to excellence, and is seeking a talented professional to join their dynamic team. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing installation of electric control systems, as well as troubleshooting electrical issues and managing capitol project initiatives.

Responsibilities:

· Lead capitol project initiatives on plant equipment and automation systems

· Develop electrical engineering specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support all aspects of the electrical engineering process

· Support various manufacturing sites on plant and capital projects

· Work hands on with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure project deadlines are met

· Must be able to handle multiple projects and report projects to senior leadership

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

· Previous ignition experience is strongly preferred

· Must have project management background

· Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in controls engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and PLC’s; Allen Bradley preferred
