We are seeking a CMM Technician to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Responsibility:
- Operating Zeiss CMM Machine and Calypso software
- Update CMM software
- Maintain the coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
- Test and calibrate equipment
- Precisely measure and program CMM for production
- Read blueprints and renderings
- Perform layouts
- Write or edit programming for new projects
- Mount and install tools, attachments and fixtures
- Troubleshoot functions
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Document and communicate production issues
- Keep a record of inventory
- Supervise other employees
- Follow safety protocols
Requirements:
- Experience in operating Zeiss CMM Machine and Calypso software
- 3+ years in the automotive industry
- Product knowledge
- Process knowledge
- Control plan
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Problem-solving experience and methodologies
