Hybrid role in the PA and MD area.
You will support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations, building energy simulations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistance. Lead design and development of technical strategies, conduct analysis to inform and recommend energy savings, and develop plans and provide reporting that contributes to the success of client programs. Write and inform technical documents, publications, and conduct quality review of content. Provide general project oversight, quality control/assurance, and continuously inform customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustments. Support business development efforts and proactively seeks new project opportunities.
Calculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, fan laws, thermodynamics, algebra, and statistics
Responsible for technical aspects of engineering work within subject matter expertise and assigned territory
Define quality standards and provide ongoing technical oversight
Provide strategic direction on how to improve our programs
Lead the development of new program capabilities
Technical lead for new work, especially for technically-related work (industrial, RCx, advanced lighting, critical facilities)
Regularly participate in BD work as the engineering lead and SME, determine appropriate timelines and budgets to support program(s)
Extensive experience working with evaluators to qualify custom projects and defend program savings
Oversee work paper development and filings
