Services for Independent Living seeks a well-qualified, full-time Social Services Administrative Assistant. Applicant must have personal or professional experience working with individuals with disabilities and have impeccable customer service skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills a MUST. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exceptional phone skills are required.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
· Answering calls and responding to requests for information and referrals.
· Managing the durable medical equipment loan program.
· Completing Long Term Service questionnaires and routing waiver requests to the appropriate agency. Experience with Medicaid Waiver preferred.
· Other office duties as assigned.
Some billing experience preferred. MUST have reliable transportation. Applicants must be able to pass background screening. Individuals with a disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
