Position Overview:

As an Operations Manager at Honest Cannabis, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing operational processes across various client projects. The Operations Manager will support the Director of Operations in overseeing the development and execution of cannabis operations projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of operational excellence in a regulated environment. This position requires up to 80% travel to various project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• · Assist the Director of Operations in planning, executing, and closing projects.
• · Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
• · Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• · Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to internal team members.
• · Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget adherence, plans, and expenditures.
• · Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
• · Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
• · Support the Director of Operations in daily administrative tasks and project coordination.
• · Assist in managing project teams and facilitating effective communication.
• · Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across all projects.
• · Review and update existing SOPs to reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.
• · Train team members on new and revised SOPs to ensure thorough understanding and adherence.
• · Travel to various project sites to oversee and support project implementation and management.

Qualifications:

• · Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• · 2+ years of experience in project management or a similar role, preferably in the cannabis industry.
• · Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• · Leadership: Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing complex projects from conception to execution.
• · Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of cannabis operations, regulations, and market dynamics
• · Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• · Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• · Understanding of the cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
• · Experience in developing and implementing SOPs is highly desirable.
• · Willingness and ability to travel.
