Our client, a respected Accounting firm, is adding to their team. You will be responsible for preparing and, analyzing financial records for a portfolio of companies located throughout the Delaware Valley The position offers you the opportunity to manage your own schedule and provide you with an excellent work life balance. The typical day varies by your schedule. Some days you will be working at the client's corporate office(usually 2 days/wk). Other days, you will be performing GL accounting responsibilities for the assigned clients which would be done at the office or remote! Client is open to full-time or part-time schedules!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
- Account rec's
- month end and year-end close process
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Direct QuickBooks experience. ERP systems experience.
- Desire to assist small to mid-sized companies
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
