BLH Technologies, Inc., an award-winning company specializing in public health, communications, technology, and safety monitoring solutions for federal and commercial clients, is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Expert / Project Manager to support federal clients, including those within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The desired staff member will work in cooperation with our BLH team and government clients to develop cloud-based systems for biomedical research repositories.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Leadership: Lead and manage AI projects, ensuring alignment with goals, budgets and timelines.
· Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Maintain regular communication to provide updates and address any concerns.
· Team Coordination: Oversee a team of developers, project coordinators, and other staff. Ensure effective collaboration and resource allocation.
· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
· Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
· Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to enhance project outcomes.
· Ethics and Compliance: Ensure all AI applications comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Address ethical considerations and ensure transparency in AI model development and deployment.
· Security Management: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data and AI models. Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
· 10+ years of Project Management Experience
· 5+ years of experience with data science, ML engineering, data analytics, or AI.
· 5+ years of experience with an object-oriented language.
· Experience with AWS or Azure cloud technologies.
· Experience with GenAI and LLM tools and frameworks.
· Experience with data science projects in NLP, generative AI, or deep learning focus.
· Experience with building data science and AI or ML solutions that support enterprise operational business and mission use cases.
· Experience with modern Cloud containerization computing technologies and CI/CD, including Docker or Kubernetes.
· Ability to design environments that support MLOps pipelines by creating architecture diagrams, process flows, selecting appropriate tooling, and deploying the solution.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Python, C, or Java.
· Experience with LangChain, AutoGPT, AgentGPT, or similar tools.
· Experience with GPU programming, including CUDA or RAPIDs.
· Experience with MLOps open source and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, such as MLFlow, Databricks, Domino, or SageMaker.
· Experience deploying RAG architectures using open source LLMs.
· Knowledge of the latest emerging LLM and GenAI tools and frameworks.
· Experience supporting Federal programs, specifically NIH.
· PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
