National Inspection & Consultants (NIC) is currently hiring NDT Level II UT Immersion Technicians for long term opportunities. This will be based out of CT with occasional travel to Cleveland, Ohio.
Seeking those who have DISK TANK IMMERSION experience.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Conduct Immersion UT tests, using UT equipment to ensure the quality or detect defects in test pieces.
- Set up, utilize, and calibrate IUT test equipment.
- Interpret codes and specifications.
- Capability of analyzing C-scan data and A-scan presentation
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 80hr UT Training Hours
- Documented & signed experience (OJT) hours
- Preference to those who have UT plate and Bar stock experience.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US (US Citizenship)
