As a Nurse Aide Trainer, you will play a crucial role in educating and training aspiring nurse aides. You will use your expertise as a registered nurse to provide high-quality instruction, ensuring that students are well-prepared to excel in their roles. You will develop and deliver curriculum, assess student performance, and maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement a comprehensive training curriculum for nurse-aid students.
• Provide classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training.
• Assess student performance through exams, practical evaluations, and continuous feedback.
• Stay updated with current nursing practices and regulations to ensure compliance with state requirements.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance the training program.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Ensure all training materials are current and relevant. Responsible for the clinical training of all CNA students in given location
• Conducts in-house, state regulated clinical hours/educational points for Nurse Aide Training Program (4-5 classes per year)
• Reviews student certification, physicals and immunization for compliance
• Collecting necessary mandatory education related to Nurse Aide Training Program
• Provides updates on training program/student progress

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Massachusetts nursing license.
• Preferred 2 years of clinical nursing experience in long-term care or similar settings.
• Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts state regulations and requirements for nurse aide training.
