Summary of Duties
· Assemble and sanitize treatment rooms for patient examinations
· Review medical history, vital statistics, and test results and accurately record in electronic patient files
· Dispense supplies and samples to patients providing instruction
· Prepare equipment and assist physician(s) in examinations, procedures, and follow-up visits
· Notify patients promptly by phone with test results, instructions, and refill prescriptions as directed
· Maintain inventory of samples, supplies, and equipment emphasizing systematic efficiency and quality control
· Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments
· Properly dispose of contaminated supplies
· Perform other administrative and clinical duties as assigned or requested

Education
· Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience
· 2 years’ experience required; consideration may be granted for combined education and experience
· Dermatology experience preferred
Certifications and Licenses
· CPR and first aid certification favorable
· Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) preferred
