BRD is an AA/EOE company.

The Estimator will be responsible for managing the entire bidding process. Responsibilities will include quantity take-offs, scope assessment, and obtaining quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. You will assist in the pre-construction phase, and work closely with the Project Managers, reporting directly to the Owner.

Responsibilities:

• Track and manage multiple bids.
• Attend pre-bid meetings.
• Review documentation to gain a complete understanding of the project requirements.
• Coordinate and obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare accurate and timely bid submissions.
• Assist the project team with buyout, and contractual requirements.

Required Skills:

• Ability to multi-task and work under tight time-constraints.
• Ability to interpret drawings, correspondence, and RFI's.
• Strong knowledge of construction, the sequence of operations, and estimating.
• Self-motivated, organized, with a high level of integrity.
• Complete understanding of estimating costs, bidding and procurement processes, preconstruction services, constructability pricing, value engineering, logistics, bonds licenses, insurance, and permits.

Qualifications:

• Construction estimating experience is required.
• A thorough understanding of plans, specifications, proposals, and contractual documentation.
