We are seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team! The QMHP will work regularly with each assigned client and be available by phone daily 24 hours a day in case of an emergency. The QMHP will have direct responsibility for guidance and supervision of the clients to whom he/she is assigned including:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to children and families.
• Work with children to meet the goals and objectives of their Individualized Service Plans.
• Assist with developing acceptable habits and attitudes.
• Work with children and guardians to build effective communication, problem-solving, and anger management skills in their daily lives.
• Assist therapists with crisis intervention.
• Participates in individual and group supervision.
• Participates in family assessment planning to help each family meet their goals.
• Handle a caseload of up to 5 clients.
• Assist the client through case management and provide other resources that promote a healthy client.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Mental Health Counseling or other related fields.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services Field approved by DBHDS.
• One year of experience providing mental health treatment to at-risk youth and their families.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
