Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office and delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare patients for treatments and ensure their comfort
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Perform dental laboratory procedures such as taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Manage patient records and schedule appointments
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
• Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) is preferred
• X-ray certification is required
• CPR certification is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite
