This role is SUPER-CRITICAL to the smooth clinical operations and efficient world-class care. We are placing a priority on the personality and training aptitude of applicants. You would be the face of the clinic upon every client visit, and otherwise be the problem-solver of the whole operation. This is a high-impact role for the right candidate!

Responsibilities

We will prioritize candidates that have direct experience with medical billing and working within the medical/patient care space in a client/patient-facing role.

• Schedule patients; coordinate evaluations, re-evaluations, appointment reminders and cancellations
• Gather new patient data; keep track of all patient referrals
• Disseminate information to patients, act as a go-between for patients and clinicians
• Verify Insurance and track insurance-covered visits; take copayments
• Collect/open mail; distribute mail to proper areas/people
• Handle all scheduling and ensuing communication
• Answer phones, act as a patient liaison, answer any questions from potential or current patients
• Fax reports to physicians; keep a log of incoming reports
• Keep track of Explanation of Benefits sent from mail and fax to billing company
• Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling/patient arrival

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
