EHR/EMR Project Manager: Busy orthopedic office has a full-time opening for an EHR Project Manager. Position is Monday-Friday from 8AM-5PM in-house. Remote or freelance candidates will not be considered.
Job Summary: Primary responsibilities will include the development and improvement of our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Job Description: Position will work with EMR representatives on a daily basis to develop and implement additional features that improve the efficiency of our practice, collect more meaningful patient data, and increase our compliance with Medicare requirements (e.g. MIPS). This includes the development of reporting templates so that information provided between visits, by patients, and across specialties is automatically generated in reports. This individual would also be tasked with training providers and staff in the developments, for auditing patient charts/reports to ensure compliance, and for assisting with light IT responsibilities as they pertain to our EMR development.
Skills & Qualifications: Applicant must be willing to multi-task, have exceptional organizational skills, and excellent computer/IT skills. The applicant must also be reliable and punctual, have good communication skills, and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining great attention to detail.
