We are currently seeking highly qualified adjunct substitute instructors to teach RN students in multiple disciplines.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Dean of Nursing, RN Instructor will assume responsibility and accountability for instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, evaluation of student and course outcomes, and planning, implementing and evaluating curriculum content in the RN Program.

SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing, education or administration
• Current California RN license as a registered professional nurse in good standing.
• 3 year continuous full-time, or its equivalent, experience providing direct patient care within the last 5 years; or 1 academic year of RN level clinical teaching experience in the pediatric its equivalent that demonstrates clinical competency within the last 5 years.
• BLS required. ACLS & PALS as required by the nursing staff specific to the unit of support.
