We are seeking a Medical Assistant Part Time to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Job Summary:

Assist physicians and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties, such as preparing treatment rooms for patient exams, assisting patients, recording patient medical history, cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and escorts patient to the room
• Clean treatment rooms following patient examinations
• Interview patients to obtain their medical history
• Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient’s electronic medical record
• Performs routine screening tests such as height and weight measurements, blood pressure checks
• Assists physicians in patient care and procedures as needed
• Properly disposes of contaminated supplies
• Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments
• Communicate with billing service as needed to clarify insurance issues
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

​Qualifications:

• Education: Medical Assisting Course preferred, but not required

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to thrive in a team environment

• Certifications and Licenses: General X-ray Operators License preferred, but not required. Will train for Ohio General X-ray Operators License
