We are seeking a Mobile Wound Clinic - Tech/ Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical practice running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with patients and collaborative care providers
- Provide safe, quality care with compassion and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare, home care preferred
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures, preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Day in the Life of the Tech/ Medical Assistant:
- Ride along with a Nurse Practitioner that specializes in advanced wound care
- See patients with the NP in their home or facility, assist the provider in procedures and care
- Assist with the coordination of the schedule, confirming appointments
- Assist with the documentation
