Looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and secure backend systems.

Employment Type: Contract/Remote

Pay rate: $10,000- $10,500/month DOE

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET Core C#.
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable and self-documented code that follows best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of existing and new applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and frameworks.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in .NET Core and C#.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Extensive experience with Azure services (e.g., App Service, Function Apps, Messaging Services, Azure AD).
• Strong experience working with various database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Explorer).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Work independently to deliver high-quality software solutions, from concept to deployment.
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building commercial software and proven track record of shipping successful software products & services.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on .NET Core.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud development principles and patterns.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

• 5+ years’ experience with Proficiency in .NET Core.
• 5+ years’ experience with Extensive experience with Azure services (e.g., App Service, Function Apps, Messaging Services, Azure AD).
• 5+ years’ experience with Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with machine learning and AI as part of solutions.
• Exposure to LLM-based generative AI frameworks/platforms.
• Development experience in Python.
• Experience with Bicep
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Kubernetes.
• Front-end development experience using React with Redux.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies using DevOps (CI/CD) practices.
