Manhattan, Chelsea N.Y. Queens, Flushing N.Y, Bronx N.Y -Cardiovascular Practice, looking to hire a full time Senior Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner /Physician Assistant .

• Vein re-flux identification
• Evaluates and treats patients with acute and chronic vascular disease in clinic setting
• Obtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new and return patients
• Administers, orders, furnishes and/or prescribes medications
• Orders and collects specimens for routine laboratory tests, radiology, examinations screening procedures and therapeutic procedures, including blood and blood products
• Performs designated procedures after demonstrated competency including wound care and debridement, perm cath removal, staple and suture removal
• Obtains informed consent
• Effectively communicates and interacts with patients, families, staff and members of the community from diverse backgrounds
• Recognizes situations which require the immediate attention of a physician, and initiates life-saving procedures when necessary
• Facilitates the coordination of outpatient care and services
• Facilitates collaboration between providers and coordination of community resources
• Provides and coordinates patient teaching and counseling.

Basic Qualifications:

• Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience as PA in vascular or related field required.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program.

• Board Certification from NCCPA - renewed every 6 years.

• State licensure valid in jurisdiction where assigned

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
