**Job Description:**

We are seeking a licensed Orthotist and/or Prosthetist to join our team at George Allen Shoes, a reputable orthotic and prosthetic shop serving the Chicagoland area. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate care and expert solutions to our diverse patient population.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct patient assessments to determine orthotic/prosthetic needs.

- Design, fit, and customize orthotic/prosthetic devices based on individual patient requirements.

- Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Educate patients and caregivers on the proper use and maintenance of orthotic/prosthetic devices.

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

**Requirements:**

- Current licensure as an Orthotist and/or Prosthetist.

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of orthotic/prosthetic principles and practices.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting.

- Certification from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC).
