Qualifications

- Machnist must have programming experience

- At least 5 years of experience setting up machinist Lathe or Mill

- Must be able to set up Fanuc Control (Okuma and Doosan Lathe Machines/ Doosan and Kuraki Mill Machines)

- Prior to setting up a job, must be able to review program and speak to programmer, if ncessary, to improve setting up process in terms of tooling use and set up timing.

- Muse be able to set up on CNC machines smoothly and efficiently without assistance.

- Set up Machinist with programming background is highly favorable.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Setting up, editing and operating CNC machines

- Reading and interpreting drawings and layout efficient set-up procedures

- Working with close tolerances

- If applying for Lathe Set-Up machinist, must be able to machine parts on horizontal lathe machines.

- If applying for Mill Set-Up machinist, me be able to machine on 3, 4 and 5 axis vertical milling machines. Experience in setting up and running on horizontal mill is highly considered.

- Performing all assigned machine shop operations is a MUST

- Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean condition and following safety procedures is a MUST
