The Nurse Practitioner shall be able to work in collaboration with physicians, clinical psychologist, and rest of the patient care team, in an active practice, with evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients. The treatments offered consist of infusion therapy, insight, cognitive, health teaching, case management, and discharge planning.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, performs procedures and prescribes medications under protocol. The ARNP will prepare medication for the patient and prepare the IV for each patient. The ARNP will provide patient education and counseling. Participates in the , evaluation and growth at AHW, while consistently utilizes the nursing process to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
Completed a master’s degree in Nursing as an ARNP.
Holds current licensure in the State of Florida as ARNP.
Demonstrates high quality case management abilities and clinical competency from previous experiences in patient care
Documents treatment plans as well as any changes to the treatment plan in the patient chart.
Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
Professional demeanor and appearance, as well as the ability to deal tactfully with sensitive situations and maintain patient confidentiality.
*ACLS certified
*Must pass criminal background checks level 1 & 2 and drug screening
*Must have experience in either medical and or psychiatric practice
*Must be flexible/hours/days of week
