Under the direction of the Radiologist or Radiology Department Manager, administers ionizing Radiation to patients for the purpose of obtaining Radiographic images; assists during fluoroscopy and special procedures. Operates X-Ray equipment, develops film, prepares patient’s room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Required to seek continuing education activities. Performs related duties as assigned.

Requires good customer service skills. Has the ability to collaborate, communicate and cooperate with others. Does not pose a threat to the health and safety of others. Requires the ability to think clearly, analyze and solve problems and the capacity to work independently with limited supervision. Demands a high level of confidentiality. Must have a clean, well groomed appearance.
