We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our small, dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building and managing our data infrastructure, creating robust ETL pipelines, and driving data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Google Cloud Platform
• Develop and implement data models to support analytics and machine learning initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide solutions
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for improved performance
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all systems
• Mentor junior data team members and contribute to technical decision-making

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience
• Experience in 2-3 startup environments, demonstrating the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform, particularly in building ETL pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala)
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Proven track record of delivering data solutions quickly and consistently
