Snelling is currently recruiting for a Revenue Department Manager for an amazing company in the Homewood area! The Revenue Manager will direct and coordinate the functions of the Revenue, Compliance, & Lockbox Departments. Complete monthly reporting to senior & call center management

Duties and Responsibilities for Revenue Department Manager

• Coordinate with Sales, IT, Client Relations, QA, and Operations to review requirements & develop solutions
• Analyze & manage impact of product enhancements and changes
• Implement Revenue focused operations, maintain current business clients, develop new services
• Ensure all revenue payments & taxpayer correspondence has been processed
• Coordinate & obtain approval of clients on outbound letters & applications
• Responsible for the quality taxpayer support
• Meet deadlines for invoices, rate changes, and delinquency notes
• Manage Revenue, Compliance, & LockBox Department administrative support team & staff

Experience & Abilities Required for Revenue Department Manager

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• MUST has knowledge of Alabama Taxpayer Bill of Rights & Alabama Business Tax Requirement
• Minimum 5 years management & office experience
• Minimum 3 years customer service experience with HEAVY inbound/ outbound phone exp.
• Heavy Data Entry
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to create spreadsheets & charts utilizing raw data and excel
• Ability to proofread correspondence, detect/correct errors, and read and interpret city/county tax ordinances.
