Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opening - School District in California
Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote position with a school district in California. This full-time opportunity offers 35 hours per week and involves serving a caseload of 57 students at the middle school level. The position starts as soon as possible and runs until June 9, 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote speech and language services to middle school students within the district.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, including progress reports and IEP documentation.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid California Speech-Language Pathology licensure.
- Previous experience working with middle school-aged students preferred.
- Strong understanding of remote service delivery platforms and technology.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Must reside in California to complete LiveScan fingerprints as required.
