Albany asset management firm is actively seeking a Client Service Manager to join their successful Albany, NY team! This role will manage daily business protocols using our client’s proprietary asset-liability management (ALM) system, ensuring timely, accurate, and tax-efficient trading. The successful candidate will be the primary contact for clients on non qualified benefit programs, including corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) or mutual funds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage assigned client asset management strategies, rebalancing portfolios, and overseeing client reporting packages.
• Prepare and process client accounts for the asset-liability management platform while ensuring accurate record keeping.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with trust partners, insurance carriers, and record-keepers, while processing life insurance claims as needed.
• Manage client relationships, communicate expectations, resolve issues with custodial accounts, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams on escalated account issues and contribute to process improvement efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Series 6 or 7 Registered Representative designation (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
• Strong interpersonal, client service, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
