Instructional Designer Job Summary:

Sparks Group is looking for an Instructional Designer to join a global leader in information services. This will be a part-time (25 hours per week) and fully remote contract assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training materials that effectively enhance employee skills and knowledge. This role requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and multimedia development.

Instructional Designer Qualifications:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in instructional design, communications, business, or similar or equivalent experience is required. Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar relevant field preferred.
• 5+ years previous working experience in instructional design, training and development or equivalent.
• Proficient with Authoring Tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise) and Learning Managements Systems (Workday Learning).
• Experience with Adobe Programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
• Experience with video editing preferred (Camtasia, Premiere, Sony Vegas, etc.).
• Experience with editing scripts for use with AI voice-over software (WellSaid, Elevenlabs).
• In-depth knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts.
