Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead a well-established, select-service hotel in Tallahassee, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel management, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and the ability to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance. Provide strong leadership to department heads and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Guest Experience: Ensure the highest standards of guest service and satisfaction, addressing guest concerns and implementing improvements to enhance the guest experience.
• Financial Performance: Manage the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Achieve revenue and profitability targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to staff.
• Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to drive occupancy, increase revenue, and enhance the hotel’s market presence.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the hotel is in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies. Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a full or select-service property.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage a team and drive operational success.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high standards of quality.
