Robert Half is looking for a SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - JAVAfor a permanent direct hire full time position with one of our clients. The position is REMOTE position.

In this role, you'll design and develop high-volume applications for mission-critical systems, contributing to all phases of the SDLC. You'll ensure the efficiency and security of your code, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with teammates on project objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years’ experience in Java development with a deep understanding of the Java ecosystem.
• Proven hands-on software development experience.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java SE and EE platforms.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and DB2.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GL/AP and I-series.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) solutions, Non-SQL databases.
