We are in search of a User Experience (UX) Researcher for a 3-month, fully remote contract opportunity. You will be part of an innovative team, contributing to the development and improvement of our services by conducting thorough user experience research and applying your findings to our user interface designs.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive user research using various methodologies such as AB testing, surveys, user interviews, and usability testing
- Working closely with the design team to interpret research results, provide actionable recommendations, and ensure that the user's perspective is incorporated into design decisions
- Collaborating with the development team to implement research-informed design changes
- Continually monitoring and analyzing user feedback and behavior to inform future research and design improvements
- Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date documentation of research processes, findings, and design changes
- Educate and advocate for the importance of user experience research and its benefits to the organization
- Prioritize research projects based on business goals, available resources, and the potential for impact
- Adapt research methods and approaches to suit the needs and constraints of a tech company
- Communicate research findings in a clear, engaging, and actionable manner to stakeholders with diverse backgrounds
- Mentor and guide junior UX researchers as needed
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in User Experience Research, with a track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
- Experience coding survey open responses and developing recommendations for product decisions along with follow up quantitative and qualitative research based on insights.
- Experience facilitating semi-structured interviews, and developing stimuli to facilitate an understanding of how people think, behave and create and what underlying knowledge they hold.
- Proven end-to-end research expertise, encompassing planning, recruitment, interviews, analysis, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating those research findings.
- Strong understanding of various research methods and ability to adapt them to different contexts.
- Experience with user-centered design.
