We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Syracuse, New York. The successful candidate will be a part of our team, handling a range of accounting tasks in a multi-corporation setting.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Contribute to month-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries.
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations with a particular focus on bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate data entry across all bookkeeping tasks.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various financial duties.
• Provide assistance in processing payroll.
• Maintain and update customer credit records as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts for necessary actions.
• Perform other financial duties as assigned by the team.• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations
• Extensive knowledge in Bookkeeping
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge in Payroll procedures
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks
• Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
