Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Loganville, Georgia

Loganville Public Schools is looking for a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to bee a vital part of our educational team. The SLP will be responsible for assessing and treating students with speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders. We seek an individual who is passionate about making a difference in students' lives and can create customized therapy plans to meet each students unique needs.

• Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, munication, and swallowing disorders in students.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students needs and educational goals.
• Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, contributing to the development of student goals and objectives.
• Perform screenings and assessments to identify students who may benefit from speech-language services.
• Stay informed about current best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
• Provide training and resources to school staff and parents regarding speech-language development and strategies to support students munication needs.

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Valid Georgia state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certification from the Georgia Professional Standards mission (PSC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Preferably, experience working in an educational setting.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

• State Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
• Professional Certification: Must possess the Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Educator Certification: Must hold a valid Speech and Language Pathology Service (S-5) Certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards mission (PSC).
