ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Special Education and a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Position Summary:

• Part Time Position
  • 20 hrs per week
• Elementary School caseload
  • 8 students on caseload
• paraprofessional will be in classroom to support
• payrate ($35-$40) depends on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Modify curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide specialized instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
