Randstad has partnered with a custom manufacturer that is looking for a reliable and skilled employee to join their growing team! This is a long term, contract-to-hire opportunity in Circle Pines, MN. Come join a team that takes pride in their work and treats their employees with due respect! Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule customer projects, allocating time and resources to meet deadlines.
• Assign tasks based on labor needs.
• Inspect and review completed parts daily before shipping.
• Custom-build components efficiently, always seeking improved methods.
• Train staff on proper use of tools, panel saws, welding equipment, and sealant applicators for product assembly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and team-friendly work environment.
• Report on progress and costs to management.
• Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure timely product delivery.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications/Experience: To perform successfully in this role, the following are required:

Education and Experience:

• Trade school or two-year technical program in a related field.
• Two to three years of relevant experience, ideally in plastics or wood fabrication/carpentry.
• Experience with plastic welding machines preferred.
• HVAC/sheet metal industry experience is a plus.

Design Drawings Interpretation:

• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and guide the team to achieve design specs within acceptable tolerances.

Equipment/Machinery:

• Skilled in measuring, cutting, and operating tools and machines like skill saws, drills, presses, and plastic welding equipment.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively with various levels of staff, demonstrating professionalism and tact.

Language Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Competence in reading and interpreting business documents.

Math Skills:

• Ability to calculate measurements, percentages, and material usage efficiencies.

Reasoning Ability:

• Strong problem-solving, initiative, and decision-making skills, with a creative, data-driven approach.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Organizational Skills:

• Capable of planning, staying organized, and remaining goal-oriented.

Leadership:

• Demonstrates strong work ethic, discipline, and ability to motivate productivity and teamwork.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Represents the company professionally in interactions with the team and management.

Work Schedule:

• Typically Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Punctuality is essential.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise levels are typical in the work environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift 10 to 25 lbs., occasionally lift 26 to 50 lbs., and rarely lift up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, and squat as needed.
• Capable of operating plastic welding equipment, hand tools, and various other machinery.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks like data entry.
