Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Carol Stream, Illinois. The SLPA will provide speech and language therapy services to an early childhood caseload under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments.
- Implement therapy programs based on individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy services to students within a school environment.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and collaborate closely with supervising SLPs.
- Work in tandem with educators and support staff to address students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLPA license.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences or a related field.
- Effective communication and strong teamwork skills.
- A passion for helping students develop their speech and language abilities.
