Assignment Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Commitment: Providers must commit to 3-4 shifts per month
- Weekends/Holidays: None
Responsibilities:
- Primary Role: Pediatric Anesthesia in Operating Room/Procedural areas with General Anesthesia (GA)
- Supervision: Required to supervise CRNAs
- Patient Population: Neonates and complex pediatric patients (ASA 3 & 4)
- Procedures: ENT, Gastroenterology, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Dental, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology
Practice Setting:
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinic Hours Only
- EMR System: Cerner
- Support Staff: Yes
Qualifications:
- Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Board Certification: Required
- Experience:
- Prior and current pediatric anesthesia experience is mandatory
- Must be competent and comfortable caring for neonates and complex patients
- Licensure: Active MI license required
- Temporary Privileges: Available
