Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Provide direct instruction in a variety of settings, including resource and self-contained classrooms.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to promote student learning and progress.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to meet educational goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
• municate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff to support student achievement.

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Special Education Teacher Certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs.
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for working with students with special needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
