Tele-Speech Therapist (CCC-SLP) - 20 Hours Per Week

ProCare Therapy is collaborating with a fantastic Columbus, NE school district to contracta virtual speech-language pathologist (SLP) on a 20-hour-per-week basis for the 20242025 academic year. This is a amazing opportunity to work from home if you have previous expertise in an academic context. Please note, while residing in Nebraska is not required, you must hold a license in both your state of residence and the state where you will be providing services.

Details:

• Part-time for the 2024-2025 academic year
  • 20 hours per week
• Start Date: August 26, 2024; End Date: June 2025
• Caseload: Grades 6 and up approximately 20 students
• Hourly Pay: $45-$50/hr, with weekly payments
  • Includes both direct and indirect services
  • Independent contractor role
  • Required: Liability insurance (professional and general)

Duties:

• Conduct remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for speech, voice, hearing, and language issues.
• Develop and deliver tailored intervention programs to address students' needs in communication, language development, articulation, and social skills through virtual sessions.
• Collaborate online with teachers and other school personnel to apply intervention strategies.

Certification:

• Minimum of two years experience in a school-based setting.
• Nebraska Speech-Language Pathologist License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state clearances, including fingerprints, TB testing (if applicable), and background checks
