We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in Mulvane, Kansas. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping students improve their speech and language skills, thereby enhancing their academic and social success. This position involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet each student's unique needs.
Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of students' progress and therapy sessions.
Participate in IEP meetings, providing input for goal setting and progress monitoring.
Keep up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Current Kansas State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists.
Experience in a school setting is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Required Licensure and Certifications:
Kansas State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) Speech-Language Pathologist License.
